The French Red Cross has proudly been hosting and supporting the Global First Aid Reference Centre for many years now, to achieve their objective to improve first aid quality for the general public and first-aiders.
The centre's activities are varied and focus mainly on research (educational and clinical), quality control, creation of awareness-raising tools and training -20 million people are trained every year in life-saving techniques! The programmes have an inclusive approach and are offered at all stages of life, for all groups of people (people with disabilities, refugees, etc.).
First aid saves lives and helps build more resilient societies. Today, we are appealing to the generosity of the public to enable us to continue to create programmes to build confident and action-ready communities.
Thank you for your support!
